25 redemptions × $2.00 entered fixed payout. No paid-tier split is applied.
How it works
Using this tool
Enter the monthly number of paid subscriptions for Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3. Include gifts in the appropriate paid tier if they have the same revenue treatment.
For each tier, enter its average net revenue base in USD before your creator share. Use a weighted amount across viewer regions and purchase channels.
Enter the share your channel receives for each tier, or apply a Plus preset only if that program actually applies to you.
Enter the Prime count and average fixed payout per redemption separately. Read the monthly breakdown and constant-assumption annual projection.
Method
For each paid tier, creator earnings = subscription count × average net revenue base × creator share. Prime earnings = Prime redemptions × average fixed payout. Monthly earnings are the sum of all four categories. Annual earnings are the unrounded monthly model multiplied by 12, then rounded to cents.
Example
At illustrative net bases of $5, $10 and $25, 100 Tier 1, 10 Tier 2 and 2 Tier 3 subs with a 50% share yield $325 in paid-sub revenue. Another 25 Prime redemptions at an entered $2 payout add $50. The model gives $375 per month and $4,500 across 12 identical months.
Assumptions & limitations
- Example dollar amounts are deliberately fictional planning values, not live regional subscription prices or a published Prime rate. Replace them with your dashboard figures. Convert local currencies to USD before entry.
- The net base should already reflect Twitch's applicable purchase-side fees, indirect taxes and other deductions before revenue sharing. Those deductions are not subtracted a second time here.
- Plus offers eligible creators 60% or 70% of qualifying paid-subscription net revenue. Qualification requires the applicable Plus points over three consecutive months; selecting a preset does not establish eligibility. Prime is paid by country-specific fixed rates and does not inherit a Plus split.
- Creator income tax, withholding and payout fees are excluded. Refunds and chargebacks must be reflected in the net bases if you want to model them. The annual estimate assumes unchanged counts, geography, rates and retention.
Common questions
Should I enter the price a viewer pays?
Enter the net revenue basis before the creator split, rather than a storefront price. Retail prices can include taxes and mobile-store charges that do not become shareable creator revenue.
Does Prime receive the 60% or 70% Plus split?
No. Prime uses a fixed payout determined by the viewer's country. Enter a weighted average payout for your actual Prime mix; the calculator adds that amount directly.
Can my paid tiers use different splits?
Yes. Each tier has its own editable share. Use the rates in your agreement. The Plus preset is a convenience for an applicable common share, and you can adjust the tiers afterward.
