Twitch Bits to USD Converter

Convert Bits to creator earnings in USD, or work backward from a dollar amount.

Convert amount

For standard channel Cheers, Twitch provides creators $0.01 per Bit. Viewer purchase prices and Bits in Extensions follow different rules.

2,500 Bits × $0.01 per Bit

Working backward

$25.00 in channel Cheer earnings corresponds to 2,500 Bits.

About this amount

The audience member's Bits bundle price is set separately. The amount above describes creator earnings only.

How it works

Using this tool

  • Choose Bits to USD and enter the whole number of Bits Cheered on a channel.

  • Use a common-amount button to quickly compare 100, 1,000, 5,000 or 10,000 Bits.

  • Switch to USD to Bits to find the minimum whole-Bit amount needed for a creator-earnings target.

  • Read the creator earnings amount. This is not the price an audience member pays to purchase a Bits bundle.

Method

For standard channel Cheers, creator earnings in USD = whole Bits × $0.01. The reverse conversion rounds a USD target upward to the next whole Bit, because fractional Bits cannot be Cheered. Money is displayed to two decimal places.

Example

A Cheer of 2,500 Bits represents $25 in creator earnings before applicable creator-side taxes or payout deductions. A reverse target of $12.345 requires 1,235 Bits and produces $12.35, covering the requested amount.

Assumptions & limitations

  • This converter covers ordinary Bits used to Cheer on a channel. Bits used inside Extensions have a separate revenue arrangement; that flow is outside this conversion.
  • Viewer bundle prices vary by region, purchase channel and offers. This tool does not quote bundle prices or estimate what the viewer spends.
  • The conversion represents earned revenue, not an immediate bank transfer. Payout eligibility, thresholds, withholding, taxes and payout fees are separate.

Common questions

Does a viewer pay exactly $10 for 1,000 Bits?

The creator's standard Cheer revenue is $10. The viewer's purchase price can be higher and depends on the storefront, region and bundle. Those are different amounts.

Can I convert a fraction of a Bit?

Bits are whole units. The forward form rejects fractional Bits. Reverse conversion rounds upward so that the resulting whole Bits cover your dollar target.

Is the same rate used for Bits in Extensions?

No. Twitch documents a split with the Extension developer for that separate product. This tool intentionally calculates only standard channel Cheers.
